Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported independent living is an exceptional support program under NDIS which is meant to assist people with disability to live with other people or on their own. The Arch Care team offers help in a variety of personal life tasks including;

  • personal hygiene
  • moving around
  • grooming, dressing
  • help in going to the washroom
  • medical aid such as enteral feeding with complete management
  • medicines
  • injections
  • complicated bowel care
  • urinary catheter setting
  • complex injury care
  • and so on
Types of Living Arrangements
  • In a few cases, our support workers live with the participant because he needs the support and care to carry out daily routine life tasks.
  • If individual lives independently or with his family, our worker goes to meet him to help him out as a host.
